David Laport's inspiration for this collection came from two specific artworks: Rochelle Goldberg's perishable mosses in the Whitney Museum in New York, and Damian Hirst's magnified mosses and fungi that was presented at the Venice Biennial. These artworks that inspired Laport were translated into a mesh fabric with flockprint, which has been developed in Paris. The golden embroidered jacquard fabric contains sequins that move in two ways, and speak to the imagination.

Last season, David Laport started a collaboration with AMF, an internationals sales agent in Paris. During the upcoming Paris Fashion Week, David Laport's collection will be presented in the AMF showroom for the press and international buyers.
