Karim Adduchi showed his new collection on Wednesday, November 8th 2017. The show took place in a beautiful old church called 'de Duif' on the Prinsengracht in Amsterdam. There was a queue all the way over the bridge with well-dressed influencers and editors form magazines.
Karim Adduchi wanted to pay tribute to the Berber women. For this collection he was inspired by his youth, when he used to observe the beautiful Berber women. In this collection he shows characteristics of the women: beautiful and fragile.
Even though Adduchi is not a political artist, he tries to pay attention to social problems with his collections. For 'She has 99 names' he worked together with immigrants and refugees from all over the world. Apart from helping them to imrove their chances on the Dutch labour market, he is also inspired by them.
