The internationally acclaimed SUSHISAMBA restaurant will launch this September in Amsterdam, situated on the stunning, seventeenth-century Singelgracht. The canal side venue is a beautiful addition to existing locations in London, New York, Las Vegas and Miami. Ever since the launch of SUSHISAMBA in 1999, the brand has been known for its unique mix of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian culture and cuisine combined with a passion for music, art and design.

'The energy, liveliness and international appeal of Amsterdam provide a natural match for SUSHISAMBA, as we continue to expand our brand internationally,' says Shimon Bokovza, CEO of Orange Brands Management. “ SUSHISAMBA is an experience of music, art, and culture and our new Amsterdam location set against the backdrop of  a stunning canal in one of Amsterdam’s most iconic locations reflects that philosophy perfectly. “

Under the guidance of Corporate Chef Cláudio Cardoso, SUSHISAMBA's menu delivers a blend of tri-cultural tastes. Guests will be treated to Brazilian Churrasco Rio Grande with ribeye, chorizo and aged picanha and the Moqueca Mista; a traditional seafood stew of shrimp, squid and sea bass with coconut and lime accents. Peruvian Kanpachi Tiradito with yuzu, sea salt and black truffles oil and Tuna Seviche with pomegranate leche de tigre, maiz morado, wasabi peas and basil. Japanese sushi & sashimi including SUSHISAMBA’s trademarked samba roll El Topo with salmon, jalapeño, shiso leaf, fresh melted mozzarella and crispy onion.

Amsterdam specific options will include Black Tiger Prawn from the robata with vanilla, jalapeno, mango and aji Amaril, the Korokke Short Rib Croquette with Peruvian purple potato, while desserts are a piece of art in itself including the Sambabeet of beetroot, blueberry, coconut, banana, lime and lemongrass among other confections. Chef Cláudio explained ‘Amsterdam’s culinary scene is growing and evolving with fresh markets, colours and vast culinary influences and this makes it a very exciting time for SUSHISAMBA to be joining. The new dishes we created for the location are inspired by the historical culinary culture of Amsterdam complementing our signature SUSHISAMBA offerings’.
