In 2004 Jan Taminiau launched his own Haute Couture line, JANTAMINIAU, a refined combination of traditional craftsmanship, romantic details and conceptual design, without ever losing sight of the female forms. From 2007 he presents his collectionstwice a year during the Haute Couture week in Paris. They are well received and soon a loyal customer base is created. Jan's designs are ideal for the red carpet and are well received by royal houses and stars, such as Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Beyonce are seen in Jan's creations. In 2014, Jan received the Grand Seigneur, the most important fashion award in the Netherlands.
Jan Taminiau's designs are rich in detail, shape and texture and have therefore been purchased by various museas over the years. Most recently, in 2018, the Centraal Museum Utrecht presented a retrospective of Jan's work, which subsequently became the most-visited exhibition in the history of the museum.
JANTAMINIAU remains an independent brand, and recently opened a workshop in Madrid to be closer to its Spanish and South American customers. In early March 2019 he presents his first Ready-to-wear line "TAMINIAU" both in Madrid andin Amsterdam.
In 2019 Jan launched his first ready-to-wear line named TAMINIAU.
